take in the wake of the accident on the bay on thursday that killed a sailor. the chronicle reports that bay area sailing experts are concerned that a flat in the carbon body may have caused it to fold. there is a mystery in lake county where an entire community of homes is sinking into the ground. it's happening in lake port about 70 miles north of santa rosa. no one knows exactly what is causing huge cracks in the earth. as our reporter tells us, a dormant volcano could be to blame. >> slow motion disaster is threatening 30 homes in the northern california neighborhood. small cracks, now gaping holes. he watched the ground pull his neighbor's home ten feet below the street and he is a seen it either way at his house. >> no more bedrooms.
